No Kings 3

Saturday, March 28th is the next No Kings protest which I will be attending, deftly squeezed in between family events with those who would not look favorably on such an event. Since I last blogged Trump has started a war with Iran, with no obvious end goal, sending gas prices to record highs. This man continues to cause as much damage to our country as he possibly can, looting us so that him and his cronies can get rich and side off into the sunset. The good news, Democrats continue to pick up wins and they continue to pivot towards candidates who want to fight for us like Julianna Stratton in Illinois. Even funnier, Democrats won in specials in Florida including in Trump’s own district where he voted by mail, a thing he wants to ban.

I am heartened by the fact that people are angrier than ever and they will not accept this mad king’s rulership without a fight. Even anecdotally in my own life, I am seeing fewer and fewer open defenses of him with this on going conflict in Iran.

Spring has sprung, the weather is fantastic and Saturday is a good day to make yet more good trouble and I hope to see more people than ever out at the event.
